Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Once i’ve received your item or your order I aim to begin work that week. Some veils require being hung up to allow folds to drop before embroidering.

    Most orders take 2 weeks at the minimum, however the more detailed or the larger the design the longer it will take.

  • Yes! I can embroider onto pre-bought veils, shoes bags, dresses, ties.

  • Embroidering onto veils is complex but something I have trained for over 5 years in. Ribbons, bags, ties are simpler to embroider. For items such as shoes, these designs are embroidered separately and appliquéd on.

    If you would like something, we will make something work!

  • Absolutely! Calligraphy styled fonts are the most frequently used fonts for monograms. But you can choose any font that you would like! Match your font to your wedding logo, your invitations or just what you love!

    Feel free to ask for fonts to be sent to you, but be aware there are millions of designs available, so it may be easier for you to choose.

    Thicker styled fonts on a larger scale could cost more then simpler thin styles.

  • To ensure that returns are not necessary, you will receive an image of your order before it is returned to you, to ensure you are happy. Each design is made for you, to your requirements so please ensure the drawn up design is correct!

  • Yes in our Real Bride gallery or on Instagram!

  • Unfortunately embroidery isn’t something that can be rushed, especially on veils.

    If you order your item with less then a weeks notice, there may be an extra charge!

  • I have been working in the wedding industry for 5 years, making designing and embroidering veils on a large scale in a small studio.

    Whilst working, I received my Ba Hons Degree from the Royal School of Needlework in Hand Embroidery. Through my university we were taught how to continue the art in only the best quality. Through this dedication to the art, we have been responsible for embroidering the wedding dress for the Princess of Wales, and many other designs for the royal family, high couture brands and many more.

  • You can have your design embroidered in any colour that you like! You are more then welcome to request swatches for the threads!

    These include metallic threads too!

  • Yes! But please ensure that the characters and wordings are spelt correctly when you send it to me.

    Once I’ve received the design and started embroidering it’s very difficult to remove.

  • As each design is bespoke, each price is also bespoke. For a calligraphy styled design fit within an A4 page (in height or width) it is £60 + shipping. Prices can go up or down from here mainly dependant on size.

  • Yes, I can send images of the mock up placement alongside the size of the quote

  • If I don’t already have a sample of something you are looking for, then yes I sample your design and send through images of these.
